About the Story:

Ozmaeth Reborn is a online Graphic Novel that began as a vivid dream.

The story follows two magical races- the Humaré and the Redayain as they battle against an unknown enemy that threatens to wipe them from the face of Ozmaeth itself. Their struggle for survival is only complicated by the deep prejudices that have kept their two great societies seperated since the beginning of their age.

Will they overcome their differences and unite against their enemy under one banner? Or will both races fall to the murderous evil that awaits them?

I have been drawing and doodling since I was a wee little nubbin, but hadn't started seriously drawing until I was in the 7th grade. I have taken a few art classes in highschool for fun and one art class in college for an elective credit. Originally I was going to become a horticultural major and be a hobby artist, but after a breif spell of 'what the crap am I doing with my life' syndrom I decided art was my true calling. In September 2007 I will be starting the year long Foundations of Visual Arts program offered at Evergreen State College in WA state.

I decided to try and draw a web comic because I need to push my boundries. If all goes according to plan I wish to become a Concept artist, but before I achieve my goal I need to incorperate more diversity into my artwork. (Ex: More creative character movement, dynamic poses, imaginative backgrounds, the works.) With Ozmaeth Reborn I hope to break out of my comfort zone by creating a entirely original, full color story that I have written and illustrated myself. NOW all I need to overcome is my laziness! I am also finding that I am a little OCD about my artwork and coloring, so turning out pages ontime is probably going to be a struggle for me.

All in all I am excited to see where I go with this, it is more a personal challenge for me to break out of my bad art habits, but if people end up enjoying the comic as well then it will be more than worth it!
